Hancock Holiday Nights Opens Dec. 1

November 14, 2022

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Hancock Shaker village will decorate the historic village with light projections, music, live animals, and more for 20 nights throughout December.

Visit Hancock Shaker Village’s farm animals as they celebrate Hancock Holiday Nights, running through December 31, 2022

Following the popularity of last year's inaugural event, Hancock Holiday Nights brings back artist Joe Wheaton to illuminate several historic buildings, including the iconic Round Stone Barn and Brick Dwelling.

Visitors attending the event will enjoy a winter stroll across the festively dressed farm, on a path to view each projection. The experience includes entrance to the kitchen of the Brick Dwelling where the Shakers would have prepared holiday foods and into the Round Stone Barn to see stabled farm animals reminiscent of the first Nativity.

Wind your way through the wonder to Shaker Mercantile for inspired holiday gifts and then gather for simple crafts in the Believers’ Room and festive spirits by the fire. Here’s what visitors have said:

Hancock Holiday Nights open Thursday through Sunday starting Sunday, Dec 1 until Dec.23 and will be open Monday through Saturday, Dec. 26 until 31
