Bidwell House Museum Hosts Hike
MONTEREY, Mass. — Bidwell House Board member Rob Hoogs will lead a guided walk across the Bidwell grounds on Saturday, August 27 starting at 9:30 a.m. During this hour-long hike on the196 acres of woods and fields participants will come across historic stonewalls, old road, the original Meeting House site and evidence of Monterey life in the 18th and 19th centuries. The terrain can be uneven so wear proper shoes, and bring water and a snack. If the walk has to be postponed or canceled due to weather, the Museum will let you know 24-48 hours in advance....

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — On Friday, August 12 at 5 p.m., the Clark Art Institute will host Moonlit Meander, an evening-long celebration featuring art, food, live music, and more. The event begins at the Lunder Center at Stone Hill and is presented in conjunction with Tauba Auerbach and Yuji Agematsu: Meander. 11th Cheshire Block Party Set for Saturday, July 23
CHESHIRE, Mass. — The Cheshire Community Association is hosting its 11th Cheshire Block Party from 5  to 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, at Town Hall Center.  "With the great music and food we've assembled this year, I imagine we'll equal or surpass last year's turnout," said John Tremblay, president of the association.  The party is free and open to the public and will play host to a raffle, live music, food and refreshments....
The Eagles Band: A Part of Berkshire County History

Sold Out Berkshire Flyer Arrives at Pittsfield's Intermodal Center
PITTSFIELD, Mass. — The Berkshire Flyer arrived at the Joseph Scelsi Intermodal Transportation Center with the first New York City passengers to Pittsfield in 51 years.  On board was state Sen. 'A Sense of Place' Opening at Real Eyes Gallery
ADAMS, Mass. — Local artists Debi Pendell, Diane Sawyer, Sarah Sutro and Betty Vera created artwork for the exhibit "A Sense of Place" to raise money to help those impacted by homelessness. The pieces created by members of North Adams Contemporary will be on display June 4 from 5-7 during an opening reception at RealEyes Gallery on 71 Park St. According to a press release: "A Sense of Place" suggests a feeling of belonging: to a household, a neighborhood, a town....

Field Farm Sculptures 'Witnesses' to Land's History
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Twelve cast-concrete figures loom over the meadows at Field Farm, their haunting gaze challenging the onlooker to consider the generations of marginalized people and cultures who had their voices silenced by colonization.  Artist Rose B.
