Adams Theater Making Final Preparations for Benefit Concert
ADAMS, Mass. — Final preparations are being made inside of Adams Theater as it prepares for an upcoming benefit concert by the piano group Two Piano Journey on Nov. 11.  The mother and son team, Michelle Chen Kuo and Christopher Kuo, is currently touring to raise money for philanthropic and charitable organizations. The duo has raised $1,456,000 for its partners since 2016. The concert is part of a fundraising effort by the theater, which it launched in August. As of Nov. 3, it has raised over $58,000 of its $80,000 goal online and $14,000 more in offline donations....

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Images Cinema presents "It's a Wonderful Life" with new executive director Dan Hudson on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 4:15 pm and Sunday, Nov. 6 at 1 pm.  Hudson will introduce each show and talk about why "It's a Wonderful Life"  is his favorite film. Eagles Band Community Concert Coming to Pittsfield Nov. 4
PITTSFIELD, Mass. — The Eagles Band's annual Community Concert returns to the Colonial Theatre next week, featuring a range of musical works from the 1700s to the modern day. On Friday, Nov. 4, the free event will include a more than 60-musician concert band and the stage band. LENOX, Mass. — Photojournalist and Photography Teacher David Lee will talk about the basic photo technology of the 19th century and how that affects the way the resulting pictures appear.  His talk will be followed by tea. According to a press release: in the Gilded Age exposures were made by both professional and amateur photographers in a time when there was no capability to photographically enlarge them. Today we have much faster darkroom photo paper and making photographic enlargements is relatively easy. But printing photos in the darkroom takes time and patience....

Clark Art Presents Concert By Pianist Gabriel Quenneville-Belair
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — On Saturday, Oct 29, at 2 pm, the Clark Art Institute presents a concert by Montreal-based pianist Gabriel Quenneville-Bélair.    The program includes nineteenth- and twentieth-century music selected from composers including Maurice Ravel, Frédéric Chopin, Franz Schubert, and Ludwig van Beethoven. Also premiering at this performance are three concert études composed by Williamstown resident Stephen Dankner.    The free performance is open to the public and takes place in the Clark's auditorium....
